Toronto BMX Summer Jam

(stolen from REDBMXMAG.com) GO REGISTER NOW BEFORE ITS FULL!
Mike Heaton, the guy who does the Toronto Jam, is throwing another one. Here’s the press release,

torontoBMXsummerjam - September 2 and 3 outdoors in Toronto.
You’re invited to our last event of the season!
PRO RIDERS: Planning to attend the Metro Jam in Kingston August 30/31? Kingston is only a 3 hour trip east of Toronto, so please stay in the area an extra day and come on over to Toronto for the PRO EVENT DAY on TUESDAY September 2. The course from March’s torontoBMXjam08 can now be found at Wallace Emerson Park, 1260 Dufferin just north of Bloor Street at Galleria Mall. This site has been open every day (and night until 11:00pm) since mid April and will be open until September 5 this year.

Registration for our event starts at 10:00 am with the PRO JAM EVENT beginning at 3:00 pm. Jam format with 4 riders per 10 minute session for the 2 hour event. Maximum of 40 riders. Make sure you have a spot by registering in advance: let me know you’re coming at torontobmx@hotmail.com or through www.torontobmx.ca. We’ll post the names of riders who register on the torontobmx.ca site. Big break with the fuel costs these days – there are no registration fees. Barbecue lunch. Nice prizes. Lots of media invited. Come and enjoy a great day in our city.

AMATEUR RIDERS: The community and amateur event takes place on AMATEUR DAY, WEDNESDAY September 3. Registration opens at 10:00 am with the AMATEUR JAM EVENT beginning at 3:00pm. Given the fact that there are no registration fees, you might want to make sure you’ve got one of the only 40 spots by registering in advance through torontobmx@hotmail.com or www.torontobmx.ca (name and contact info please). Once you’ve registered, your name will be posted on the torontobmx.ca site. Day of the event, look forward to a barbecue at lunch time (12:00-2:00), some great tunes for riding, prizes, and a bit of attention from the media. It will be your last chance to ride the course this year: after the event, the course is being moved off the site.
